Modifying Table Properties

These instructions describe how to change the following:

• Table width

• Table alignment

• Table indentation

• Row height

• Column width

• Cell size

• Cell vertical alignment

• Cell Margins

• Cell Spacing

These parameters can be changed through the Table Properties dialog box.

Follow the instructions below to modify table properties.

Highlight the cells, rows, or columns you want to modify. If you want to change the properties of the whole table, you can just put your cursor in one of the table cells.

Click on the Table Tools Layout tab.

The Layout ribbon is displayed.

Click on theProperties tool.

The Table Properties dialog box is displayed. Click here to access descriptions of all of the controls on all of the tabs of the Table Properties dialog box.
